Armed Security Officer - Gila Bend - 22.50 per Hour

Armed Security Officer - Gila Bend, AZ -/$22.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10pm-6am (40 hours)

Compensation: $22.50 per hour. (Pay reduced to 20.50 per hour if Armed training is not successfully completed within 60 days of hire)

Job Summary

We have an opening on our security team for a Security Officer to work at one of our most critical sites in Gila Bend, AZ. The Security Officer will be a key member of our security team as we safeguard the property, personnel, and equipment on site.

Anderson Security Agency will provide you with the training, uniforms, and all equipment to perform the functions of this role.

Essential Functions

  • Make ethical judgment decisions while carrying out your responsibilities according to company and client policies.
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all aspects of the job to ensure safety and security for all on-site.
  • Create a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Communicate appropriately with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the general public professionally.
  • Ensure that the security team meets organizational goals for productivity, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software on-site.
  • Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises to observe anything out of the ordinary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
  • Create and maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, site-specific post orders and duties, and client safety programs.
  • Handle sensitive information and material, in doing so, remain confidential at all times.
  • Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of your duties.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if and when required or in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age, per state standards.
  • Valid Unarmed Guard Card
  • Valid Armed Security Guard (We can help you get this!)
  • One (1) year of experience in either contract security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. (We provide these for FREE!)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States legally.
  • Submit to a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Possess the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • If military experience must be able to provide a copy of DD-214, Form 4.
